Do you need clarity around your estate, potential medical care or long-term care? Reflecting, Sharing, Learning presents an informational session on Advance Care Planning featuring guests Mary Jo Johnson (Life Care Coordinator with Kimbrough Law Form) and Rev. Grady Mosely (Senior Pastor at First United Methodist Church in Madison). Recorded at Athens-Clarke County Library on Oct. 20, 2022.

The event celebrates the opening of Athens-Clarke County Library's gallery show, "Visions From The Outside: Artistic Celebration of UFOs and Other Mysteries," which opened in the library's Bogue Gallery Oct 2.
Visions From the Outside features artistic expressions of the UFO Enigma from a striking selection of the best in American Folk and Outsider artists - an artistic extravaganza curated by creative visionary Tex Crawford, and Windbridge Institute Scholar in Virtual Residence David Metcalfe.
From Foo Fighters in World War II to Kenneth Arnold’s 1947 sighting over Mt. Rainer; From the D.C. Flying Saucer Flap in 1952 to the Phoenix Lights in 1997; From the “Humanoid Wave” of 1973 to the Preliminary Assessment on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena published by the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence in 2021. No matter where you look in U.S. history there’s a UFO hovering nearby!
Join us for an uncanny exploration of these fantastic flying mysteries. Whether you’re a skeptic, a believer or a down to earth saucer seer, this exhibit will open your eyes to the beauty behind those strange aerial unknowns.

Aiki means the defender blends without clashing with the attacker, then goes on to dominate the assailant through the application of internal strength or Ki energy to effect techniques. Blending with an attacker's movements allows the Aiki practitioner to control the actions of the attacker with minimal effort. Long time aikido instructor John Smartt will be in the Athens-Clarke County Library to explain and show us how Aikido is the Way of Harmony. Free and open to the public.
