The Friends is a 501c(3) non-profit organization that supports the library in numerous ways - hosting Café au Libris author events, Live@the Library concert series, and book sales at the Athens-Clarke Library. Additionally, they provide supplemental funding for a wide array of programs such as the Summer Reading program. Interested in joining the Friends? March 30: Preview Book Sale (for Members only). Members of Friends of the Athens-Clarke County Library group can get first pick of the thousands of books on sale at our semi-annual book sale. Not a member? Join at the door for $25.
March 31 - April 2: Books Sale open to public. Browse the thousands of donated books, records, DVDs and more during the Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale. All proceeds benefit the Athens-Clarke County Library.
