Digital Media Center

Overview

The Digital Media Center (DMC) is a public computer lab and makerspace that provides access to Adobe creative software, basic audio recording equipment, video editing software, 3D printers, digital conversion equipment, and more. The DMC is located on the 2nd floor of the Athens-Clarke County Library.

• Hours: The DMC is open during regular library hours.
• Staffed hours: Check the DMC calendar.
• All DMC users and visitors must sign in at the 2nd Floor Reference Desk. The DMC is for patrons 16 and older.

• Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) for recording music or podcasts
  • Must make a reservation for audio recording 
  • Must be able to record instruments and/or voice at levels that are not louder than normal conversation since the room is not sound proofed.
• Digital to analog media conversion
