Bienvenidos a Sistema Bibliotecario Regional de Athens!

Nuestra principal misión es ayudar a que nuestra comunidad hispana este mejor informada en los Estados Unidos de America. Nosotros ofrecemos un gran número de servicios a la comunidad entre los que se encuentran clases de ingles, clases de computación, seminarios de salud, ayuda con las tareas de los estudiantes y muchos otros programas para adultos, jóvenes y niños. La biblioteca cuenta con varias computadoras y acceso a la internet, al igual que muchos libros y videos. Todos nuestros servicios son gratuitos. La Biblioteca de Pinewoods es un recurso invaluable para la comunidad hispana.

Join us for a special Bedtime Stories as we share Janell Cannon's classic, "Stellaluna." Every child who attends can enter to win a FREE family four-pack of tickets to the Center for Puppetry Arts' new production of Stellaluna through March 8, courtesy of the library, Georgia Public Library Service and the Center for Puppetry Arts. Winner will be announced Feb. 6!

If you can't make this bedtime story, visit any local Athens Regional Library System branch (see dates on the ARLS page) to enjoy a special storytime featuring Janell Cannon’s classic children’s book, Stellaluna. You’ll be eligible to win a FREE FAMILY 4 PACK of tickets to see the world premiere adaptation of Stellaluna at the Center for Puppetry Arts, which is playing now through March 8. Tickets include the performance, entry to the Worlds of Puppetry Museum and Create-A-Puppet Workshop. This drawing is made possible through a partnership with Georgia Public Library Service and the Center for Puppetry Arts. Winners will be chosen on Thursday, February 6.

Don’t forget… you can also check out the Passport to Puppetry at your local library, which admits four people into the World of Puppetry Museum for Free or you can use it to receive a 25% discount on an All-Inclusive Ticket which includes the Museum, a puppet show, and a Create-A-Puppet workshop.
