Lunch & Learn: Birds & Light Pollution

Join us at the Oglethorpe County Library for a discussion about the impacts of light pollution on migratory and non-migratory birds and learn some of the ways you can help these creatures directly and indirectly right in your own backyard. This session will be led by Josh Snead from the Watson Mill Bridge State Park.

Light refreshments will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch, if desired.

This program is best for adults.

Join us at the Oglethorpe County Library for an afternoon with Lillah Lawson, author of Monarchs Under the Sassafras TreeDead Rockstar, and The Wolfden.

Lillah Lawson is an author of historical & literary fiction, as well as southern gothic and speculative fiction/fantasy. She received a nomination for Georgia Author of the Year in 2020 for her debut novel Monarchs Under the Sassafras Tree.
