Cozy at the Library! (Creating Hygge)

It’s been another long year, and you deserve some quiet time. We've created a homey haven from the winter blues: our hygge hang-out.

The Danish concept of hygge (pronounced HYOO-guh) roughly means happiness through all things cozy and comfy. It is also the conviviality that comes from shared activities with friends and family.

Come on by the Oglethorpe County Library with friends, or make new friends, as you relax by our faux fireplace, play a game, work on a puzzle, try a winter craft (as supplies last), and more. Feel free to bring your own knitting or crafting project!
