The Friends is a volunteer organization that supports the library in numerous ways, including author events, programming support, and book sales at the Library. Friends groups are citizens who join together to support, improve, and promote the local library. Join us! Interested in making a donation

What do the Friends of the Lavonia-Carnegie Library do?

  • Buy new, in-demand items for adults, teens and children
  • Provide quality programming to keep kids, teens, and adults reading
  • Fund entertaining and educational events throughout the year 
  • Advocate on local, state, and national levels for library services;
  • Sponser National Library Week events and other activities. 
  • ..and many other fun events such as the Rocket to the Moon Summer Reading Program Fundraiser!
