June is Alzheimer's Awareness Month. Is someone in your life affected by Alzheimer’s, either as a victim of the disease or as a caretaker? A bewildering array of questions arise about treatment, care, and support. Mary Jo Johnson will be here to answer your questions about Alzheimer's and Alzheimer's care.

Facilitator Mary Jo Johnson’s career has been tirelessly devoted to senior care, with a particular passion for dementia care. Her professional passion turned deeply personal when her father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and lived at a specialized memory care facility she designed. She volunteers for the Alzheimer’s Association as the Family Caregiver Support Group facilitator that meets monthly at the Athens-Clarke County Library. She is also chair of the Chamber of Commerce Athens Senior Resource Network. She will be available to answer questions from the audience.
